AI Academic Hub brings together repositories, articles, and datasets that researchers can use to build tools for their own academic work.
We built it around a practical question: what is already out there that could help us do this research task? Finding those building blocks—and understanding what they do—is the starting point for adapting them with AI to fit a particular workflow.
Why we built it
We became researchers because we love doing research. AI is moving fast enough to feel overwhelming, and it will keep getting more powerful. We choose to keep learning it, because used responsibly it is a tool that helps us get research done and become better researchers. The Hub is where we learn to guide it toward the research we have loved from day one.
What you’ll find
Resources are organized around recurring academic tasks, including literature review, theorization, data analysis, and reporting and communicating research. Entries describe what each resource does, where to find it, its license, and what it takes to use.
The Hub offers a wide survey without ratings or “top ten” picks, because different projects need different tools. The Hub does not run or test the resources it lists. You decide what fits your work.
How it is built
The Hub uses a multi-model, multi-agent search workflow informed by systematic-review practices in social science. Each search starts from a written scope. Its queries and screening decisions are recorded, and every retained finding is linked to its source.
Different models contribute to discovery and checking, and we approve what is published. Pages carry the date they were last checked. These practices make the work traceable and open to scrutiny. Gaps and errors can remain.
How to use it
Start with the research task you want to accomplish. Explore the relevant resources and their sources, then work with your AI to adapt or combine what is useful.
The aim is to help you become more capable of shaping your own research tools. We built the site to be read by people and by AI agents. To have your agent read it, give it the prompt below.
